Just doesn't have the external battery power port that I need.
When i'm shooting meet greets of celebrities, that 'double tap' and quick refresh rate is vital.
1 and 5 battery life depends on the batteries used if you want a good, solid, inexpensive flash for on or off camera use. An external battery power port. Recognizes them of the lens, the distance of the subject if metering is turned on in camera. Just like the canon branded Speedlite, it has the built in bounce and defuse, and the light sphere fits perfectly without any problem.
Because I do use that port on remotely placed cameras to extend the effective life of the flash and speed up recycle times. Just add 4 AA batteries, mount, and power on. And has all the same type of settings as my 580's. Pro master fl 190 Speedlite for canon dslr 70d, 80d, Mk, mark series like EX560, ex580, EX580II, EX600 I don't know if this will work with any other brand of camera, but have tested it on a few different canon bodies and it works amazing.
I'd guess it is as fast and flexible as the canon 580 ex, but there is a slight 2 to 3 second pause between the first two 'double snaps' quick flashes, and the third flash, but the initial double snap is really fast impressively so. This is less than half the cost of the canon Speedlite with the similar power, controls, and quality. This flash easily meets all those requirements.
It lacks only one thing over my canon 580 xii flashes. This is far nicer than the Yangon 560, 580 line of flashes, and has a much faster recycle time. And actually, I think this one is probably tougher and better built than the 580 ex ii ex model's.
Because of that, i've decided to sell this. On 4 rechargeable batteries, this flash perfectly sync's with a fast double tap.
