The flash was manufactured in hong kong. Please look at the pictures and ask questions prior to purchase your satisfaction is my goal. The flash uses 4 AA batteries not included, either alkaline or NIH - it was tested with both types. The original box and instructions are included, but wide-angle light diffuse is missing this needed for 28mm lenses.

It has been checked over and recycles per specifications when fitted to a nikon fe camera, with the ready light visible in cameras viewfinder. Note: I would not recommend that this flash be used on any digital camera, as the trigger voltage might too high and could damage electronics of camera.
